Rosemary Kirby
Rosemary Kirby teaches high school in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Rosemary is a teacher by nature and nurture, Hispanic and Native American. She was raised under the belief that children are the most important resource in our culture. She has taught since she was four, as a Peace Corps volunteer, and in public schools (kindergarten through high school). She has received numerous teaching awards. Her most rewarding moment as a teacher is when she hears students groan when the bell rings for the end of class. She has two daughters and one granddaughter.
